Pearlie Mae Jones, 68, of 169 Franklin Road, died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2002, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Ella and S.B. Briggs. Survivors: Husband, Joe Jones; a son, David Jones, of Columbus, Ohio; sisters, Ella S. Briggs of Cross Anchor, Virginia Jones of Greenville and Maragaret Meredith of Woodruff; brothers, James A. Briggs of Cleveland, Ohio, and Chavis Jones of Enoree; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild. Service: 2 p.m. Saturday at Macedonia A.M.E. Church. Burial: Church cemetery. - W.J. Gist Mortuary.
