Memorial service for Pearl M. Thornton, 82, Deer Run Lake Drive, Ormond Beach, who died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 2, in the Clubhouse at Aberdeen at Ormond Beach, 50 Allwood Green Blvd., Ormond Beach, with the Rev. Jack Ottoson, pastor of Hope Lutheran Church, Daytona Beach, officiating. Cremation will be by Dudley Crematory, New Smyrna Beach. Mrs. Thornton was born in Warren, Ohio, and moved to Ormond Beach in 2003 from New Smyrna Beach. Survivors include three daughters, Joyce Johnson, Ormond Beach, Karen Smith and Donna Nellis, both of Warren; one brother, Norman Rose, Viroqua, Wis.; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Delbert James Williams in 1985; her second husband, Earl O. Thornton, Jr. in 1994; and her son, Farrell Richard Williams in 2005. Memorial donations may be made to the Hope Lutheran Church, 600 S. Clyde Morris Boulevard, Daytona Beach, FL 32114.
