LEE Pearl Helen Wilson Lee (May 19, 1926-June 29, 2005) Pearl Helen Wilson Lee was born in Jacksonville, Florida to the late John and Ethel Wilson on May 19, 1926. She was educated in the Duval County Public School System and graduated from Stanton High School in 1944. On October 6, 1948, she married the late Robert E. Lee, Jr. In the course of their twenty-five year marriage, they raised four children; Wanda, Arthur, Greg and James. During the socially turbulent years of the 1960s, “Miss Helen” entered the workforce as an employee of the federally funded Greater Jacksonville Economic Opportunity program. Subsequently, she was employed at Duval Medical Center, later University Hospital and now Shands of Jacksonville. “Miss Helen” retired as a Patient Administrator from University Hospital on July 12, 1983 after serving the citizens of Jacksonville for 20 years. Pearl was preceded in death by her father John Wilson and her mother and stepfather, Ethel Wilson Hall a nd Peter J. Hall as well as a younger brother John Henry Wilson. Mourning her death are her children: Wanda Wilson, Arthur (Sheila) Lee, Gregory Lee and James (Rosalyn) Lee; grandchildren: Vanessa (Jimmy) Collins, Valorie (Robert) Wilson, Arlissa (Eric) Minniefield, Monique Lee, Christina (Marco) Ingram, Nicole (Byron) Perkins, Latrice Lee, Jamesia Lee, and Arthur E. Lee, Jr.; great-grandchildren: Deandria Montgomery, Juwan Collins, Ahtori Matthews, Imari Webster, Anissa Wilson, Robert S. Wilson, Jr., Robert T. Wilson, David Minniefield, Marco B. Ingram; sister, Lillian A. Coleman; brother Nathaniel (Ella) Wilson and sister-in-law Louise Wilson; nieces: Cynthia Moore, Robin Williams, Laurene Wilson, and Donna Wilson; nephews: Michael Wilson, Kenneth Wilson, Albert Wilson, Keith Wilson and Craig Wilson. Additionally mourning her demise is a host of cousins notably Earnestine Holzendorf, Ida Pearl Brown and King Earl Meyers and numerous loved ones including lifelong friends Geneva and W oodrow Burton, Carlene and Eunice Bell, Alma Watson, Johnnie Mae Ward and Juanita Walker. Funeral service will be held on Sat., July 2, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Faust Temple Church Of God In Christ 3328 Moncrief Rd. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 1, 2005 from 6-8 PM at the mortuary. Arrangements entrusted to C. L. PAGE MORTUARY 3031 Moncrief Rd. Carla L.
