Obituary of Pauline Palmer


Pauline (Colomy) Palmer, 86, passed away Friday Nov. 29, 2013, at the Concord Hospital.Pauline was born in Hudson, Mass. the daughter of Leslie and Rose (Kramer) Colomy in August of 1926. She was raised there and attended school there. Pauline has lived in Concord for the past 17 years coming from Boscawen where she had lived for over 30 years.Pauline was an employee of Beede Electrical Company for many years and retired in 1979. She enjoyed raising her family and was an avid BINGO player in and around the Concord area. She was also very talented when it came to crocheting making many different afghans, mittens, hats and other goods that she enjoyed sharing with family and friends.She was predeceased by her husband, Harold J. Palmer Sr. in 1986; a son, Harold J. Palmer Jr.; and a daughter, Carol Vallee; as well as a couple siblings.She is survived by two sons, Steven Palmer, of Concord and David Palmer and his wife, Brandy, of Marrow, Ga.; two daughters, Linda Westgate of Boscawen and Lorraine Brunelle and her husband, Dick, of Sharpsburg, Ga.; several siblings and many nieces and nephews.A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, at 2 p.m. in Pine Grove Cemetery on Corn Hill Road in Boscawen. The Wendell J. Butt Funeral Home in Penacook is assisting with arrangements.
