MILLER, Pauline Evelyn (nee Nielsen) It is with great sadness we announce that Pauline Evelyn Miller (nee Nielsen) of Okotoks passed away October 4, 2013 at the age of 86. Pauline grew up in the Standard, AB area and graduated from the Holy Cross School of Nursing in 1950. After graduation Pauline married Robert (Bob) Miller and moved to Okotoks where they farmed and raised their family. In 1979 Bob and Pauline moved into town and became even more active members of the Okotoks community. Pauline was an avid curler for many years, served two terms as Honored Royal Lady with the Okotoks Royal Purple and gladly gave her time to many community activities. She was predeceased by her loving husband Bob in 2007. Pauline will be greatly missed by her two surviving brothers David and Ron Nielsen, her children Ervie Miller (Jackie), Brian Miller (Debbie), Linda Larson (Chris), and Dennis Miller, eight grandchildren and their spouses and four great-grandchildren, Robert Miller (Krista, Haley, Ryan), Doug Miller (Tanis, Tate), Lynsey Harmon (Chance), Jaret Miller (Tara), Marty Miller (Kaylea, Tenley), Trevor Larson, Adelaide Acton (Justin), and Justin Miller.
