Pauline Reese Lee, age 78, of 114 Rock Creek Road, wife of Austin L. Lee, died Sunday, June 1, 2003 at her residence.Born April 17, 1925, in Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late James Reese and Hattie Bottoms Reese. Mrs. Lee retired from Excelsior Finishing in Clemson. She was a member of Second Baptist Church of Pendleton.Surviving are her husband, Austin L. Lee, of the home; son, James Austin Lee, and his wife, Peggy, of Cornelius, N.C.; daughters, Sandra L. Bailey, and her husband, Terry, and Diane L. Seagraves, and her husband, Doug, both of Anderson, Carol L. Russell, of Greenville and Janet L. Forbes, and her husband, Glenn, of Atlanta; sisters, Betsy Biter and Jeanette Strickland, of Walhalla; granddaughters, Brandi Harrison, of Charlotte, N.C., Amy Keenan, and her husband, Dan, and Kris Burriss and her husband, Blitz, both of Anderson; great-granddaughters, Abby Keenan and Bailey Burriss of Anderson.Two sisters, Hassie Roberts and Elizabeth Durham, preceded Mrs. Lee in death.Funeral services were held June 3, 2003 in the chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jimmy Cox officiating. Burial followed in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Anderson.The body is at The McDougald Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. today, June 3, 2003.The family will be at the home of a daughter, Sandra Bailey, 244 Graylyn Drive, Anderson.Flowers are optional.
