-><!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Henderson, PaulinePauline G. Furman Parks Henderson, 97, formerly of Greene, NY, died June 17, 2014. Pauline was born on August 18, 1916, the daughter of George and Mamie (Townsend) Furman. She was born and raised on the family farm on Stillwater Road. Pauline was a lifelong member of the North Fenton United Methodist Church as well as a lifelong member of the Daughters of Rebekah. She married Orrin (Pete) Parks on April 27, 1935 and had two children, Etta Ruth and George Henry. Following Pete's death she married Harry Henderson on October 6, 1973 and moved to Starlight, PA. Due to her declining health she relocated to Ithaca in 1998 to be closer to her son George, whose care and attention to his mother was unfailing. In her spare time she enjoyed cross-stitching as well as playing cards and bingo. She was predeceased by her husband, Pete Parks; her sisters, Mildred Small, Ruth Kruger Tripicco; and her daughter, Etta Ruth. She is survived by her husband, Harry; son and daughter-in-law, George and Dawn Parks; grandchildren, Lee Parks and Cindy Parlett, along with four great-grandchildren, Jared, Sam, Kira and Chase. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, at the Kennedy Funeral Home, 21 N. Chenango Street in Greene. Interment will immediately follow at Sylvan Lawn Cemetery. A brief visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial donations may be sent to the North Fenton United Methodist Church in North Fenton.
