Pauline Hammond Cooley, 79, widow of Marvin Cooley, died December 12, 2006 at Roger Huntington Nursing Center.A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Joe and Ola Lothridge Hammond, she was a retired employee of J.P. Stevens, and a member of Victor Baptist Church.Surviving are three sons, Billy Joe Stewart of Greer, John (Gundy) Stewart of Taylors, and James (Duck) Stewart of Myrtle Beach; a daughter, Melissa Gillespie of Easley; two stepdaughters, Pam Putnam and Jackie Prather, both of Greer; two stepsons, Douglas Cooley of Mauldin and Robert Cooley of Simpsonville; two sisters, Mamie Sailors of Greer and Janie Boggs of Fountain Inn; four grandchildren, Jodi Schaffer, Shannon Stewart, Michael Stewart, and Jay Paul Stewart; and three great-grandchildren, Megan Schaffer, Taylor Schaffer, and Jaden Stewart.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Greenville Memorial Gardens Chapel, conducted by Rev. Tommy Kay. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.Mrs. Cooley was predeceased by four brothers; and two sisters.Visitation will be held after the service at Greenville Memorial Gardens Chapel.The families are at their respective homes.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Greer Community Ministries, P.O.
