COOLEY _ Pauline Pauline Cooley (born Marian Pauline Alberta Bowman) passed away at her home in Kihei, Maui, on Saturday, July 30, 2005. She was born in Edmonton on June 20, 1930, the youngest child of Harvey and Jessie Bowman. Pauline was a school teacher in Calgary for many years, specializing in music. She and husband Ray (who passed away July 1, 2001) travelled extensively in Canada, the USA, Australia and South America. She loved the tropical climate, and lived in Maui for the last fifteen years. Pauline was talented and artistic, and always willing to take on a new challenge. Music, needlework and later the computer, were great sources of pleasure for her. She was brave and patient, enduring several years of ill health. Lovingly remembered and missed by her children, Ellen Sangster and Len Cooley; her sisters, Isabel Pegg and Betty McLaren; grandchildren, Deirdre Sangster, Wesam Cooley and Rania Cooley; her caregivers, Maria, Lisa, Frankie and Darlene; and many friends. A Remembrance of Pauline's life will be held at her home (A217, Maui Sunset), from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 7. Cremation arrangements in care of BALLARD MORTUARY, Telephone: 1-808-871-7911. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pauline's name to the American Lung Association.
