HOWARD, PAULA LEE OBERLE, 58 Ocala - Paula Lee Oberle Howard, 58, Ocala, FL passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at Estelle's House, Marion County Hospice. She was born in Wheeling, WV on December 31, 1947 to Joseph "Butch" Oberle and Mary Viola "Vicki" Leithe OBerle of Wheeling, WV, both deceased. She is survived by her husband, Major General Patrick Gene Howard, USMC Ret.; sons, Brian Patrick and Kef Howard of Tampa, FL, Michael Scott and Wendy Howard of Steamboat Springs, CO, Marc Andrew Howard of Durango, CO; sister, Susan (Ken) Janiszewski of Cameron, WV; brother, William "Doc" (Jancie) Oberle of Cedar Grove, NC; mother-in-law, Mrs. Gene "Toggie" Fry Howard of Cameron, WV; grandchildren, Carson, Connor and Coryn Howard of Tampa, FL and Cale Michael Howard of Steamboat Springs, CO; three nieces, Kathy, Karin and Shelli; two nephews, Jeff and Kenny and their families. Paula was a graduate of Cameron High School and Fairmont State College. She was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. Paula was a devoted Marine wife and mother to her three children. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to cancer research group, Ocala Royal Dames, Inc., P.O. Box 6165, Ocala, FL 34478. There will be a viewing Friday, November 17, 2006 from 6 - 8 p.m. at HIERS FUNERAL HOME, 910 SE Silver Springs Blvd., and a mass on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 12 noon at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 5 SE 17th St. Interment will be at Quantico National Cemetery in Virginia at a later date.
