KOLIND, Paula Herdis On July 17, 2003, Paula Kolind of St. Albert passed away suddenly. She leaves to mourn her daughter and four sons; Kate (Lee Fenner), Tage (Bonnie), Karl (Debbie), Michael (Gabriele), Kim (Elaine), and 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. As well she is survived by 3 sisters, a brother and numerous nieces and nephews in Denmark. She was predeceased by her husband Neils on November 14, 1991. Paula was born in Denmark in 1916. She married Neils in 1939 and they subsequently immigrated to Canada in 1957. In 1967 they moved to St. Albert. Their favorite activity was exploring Alberta towns and researching local histories. In 1980, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends. Paula possessed a great wit and will be sorely missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at the Howard and McBride Westlawn Chapel 16310 Stony Plain Road.
