Paul Ray Smith, age 60, of Buford passed away from this life into the loving arms of our savior, Christ Jesus, at 3:16 p.m. on Feb. 11, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Donna; daughter, Starla and Mark Johnson; and son, Davin. Paul was the proud Papaw of Zachary, Makayla, Deanna, Kendra, Davin Sean, Rylee and Chase. He is also survived by his beloved and devoted brother, Jerry and his wife Elaine, their two sons and family; two sisters, Linda Asbury and husband Robert, their two sons and daughter and families, Edna Cagle and husband Steve and her sons and daughters and families also survive him. He has several nieces and nephews from predeceased siblings who also survive him. A celebration of life service, conducted by the Rev. Wayne Thomason, will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13, 2009, at the chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Arrangements by Junior E.
