Obituary of Paul P. Finn


Paul P. Finn -->Paul P. Finn, 64, of Marshfield, formerly of Dorchester, died Nov. 18, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Judith (McKinnon) Finn, he was the son of the late John and Helen (Sweeney) Finn; devoted father of Kristen Finn of Marshfield and Jessica McNally and her husband Steven of Duxbury. Also survived by family members, Muriel, Laraine, Richard and Ralph Gibbs; and many friends. Paul was born in Manchester, N.H., and raised in Dorchester before moving to Marshfield many years ago. Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, Vietnam War. He was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal. Paul was an electrician and a member of Local 103 for over 45 years. Visiting hours at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139, Marshfield, Sunday, Nov. 27, from 2 to 6 p.m. Funeral from the Funeral Home Monday, Nov. 28, at 8 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Christines Church, 1295 Main St., Marshfield, at 9 a.m. Interment will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Pauls memory may be made to N.E. Center for Homeless Veterans, NECHV, 17 Court St., 9th floor, Boston, MA 02108.
