Paul Nesbert Smith - Savannah -Paul Nesbert Smith, 69, died Monday, January 1, 2007 at home. The Savannah native was a graduate of Alfred E. Beach High School Class of 1955. He furthered his education at Savannah State University graduating in June 1959 with a degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree from Fort Valley State University in August of 1971 in Guidance and Counseling. He was a member of Kappa Alpha Phi Fraternity, Inc. Paul worked as an educator in the Savannah Chatham Co. Public School System. He also worked in Law Enforcement and was self employed in the Transportation/Trucking industry. Survivors include a daughter, Sonja M. Smith; two granddaughters, Adina M. DeCoteau and Adrienne N. DeCoteau; sister, Euris M. Bryant, Cinn. OH; brother, Frank D. Smith, Cinn, OH, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
