LEMIEUX, Paul Platoon Chief (Retired) Ottawa Fire Department WW II Veteran It is with great sadness that the family of Paul announces his passing in his 86th year on Friday, February 3, 2006. Beloved husband for 60 years of Laurette (nee Grenon). Loving father of Rick (Gloria), Mike (Kathy) and Suzanne (Jacques). Proud grandfather to Krista, Christopher, Mark, Kevin, Martin and Julie. Great grandfather of six. Brother of Jeannette, Lucille, Roland, Gilberte, and Helene. Predeceased by his parents Rene and Beatrice (Morin), his sister Claire, brothers Jean-Jacques and Gerard. Paul lived a full life as a firefighter for 35 years, was an awesome round and square dancer, euchre player and avid fisherman. Many family and friends will fondly remember him. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the compassionate and caring staff of the Queensway-Carleton Hospital. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home 2313 Carling Avenue (west of Carlingwood) Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9 a.m. on Monday. Funeral Monday to St. Remi Church, 2821 Dumaurier Avenue, for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11 a.m. Interment Pinecrest Cemetery. A reception in Paul's memory to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery Reception Centre. Donations to the Queensway-Carleton Hospital Foundation preferred.
