Paul L. Williams of Virginia Beach, VA, served in two wars; 80 VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia Paul L. Williams, 80, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, died Tuesday morning, April 21, 2009, in his home, after an illness. He was born on May 4,1928, in Wallace, North Carolina, the son of Buren and Effie Mae (Nethercutt) Williams, and has lived in Virginia Beach for many years. Paul was a 21 year retired Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force and served during both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. After his retirement from the Air Force, Paul attended and graduated from Florida University with his Bachelor's Degree. He became a teacher and taught school fo one year. He then went to work at the Norfork Naval Shipyard for 13 years and then at the Naval Enviormental Health Center before his retirement several years ago. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Josephine (Lomaglio) Williams of Virginia Beach, Virginia; two brothers, Glen Williams of Roake Rapids, North Carolina and David Williams in Louisiana. He also leaves many nieces and nephews in the Fitchburg and Leominster area. WILLIAMS A funeral service will be held on Saturday April 25, 2009 at 10 a.m. in the Lavery Chartrand & Alario Funeral Home, 99 Summer St., Fitchburg, MA, followed by interment with Military Honors in St. Bernard's Cemetery Fitchburg, MA. A Calling hour will be held on Saturday morning at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until 10 a.m.
