Paul Edwin Taylor, 71, of Dickson, died Friday, July 9, 2010, at Horizon Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Chatham officiating. Burial will be in Dickson Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from nonn until time of service Monday at Taylor Funeral Home. Taylor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was the son of the late John Henry Taylor and Hannah Rogers Taylor Dykus and was preceded in death by his half brothers, Harlan, Warner and Willie Taylor; half sister, Eva Weatherspoon. Mr. Taylor owned Taylor Iron Works where he worked as an Ornamental Iron Worker and had worked in the Iron business for over 40 years.. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include his son, Eddy Taylor and his wife Lisa of Woodlawn; grandchildren, Evan & Blake Taylor; brother, John R. Taylor of Dickson.
