Paul E. DesrochersVietnam War Veteran; 63 HUDSON, Florida -- Paul E. Desrochers, age 63, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Feb. 21, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer.He was born in Lowell, Aug. 25, 1949, son of Roland and Cecile Desrochers. Paul grew up in Lowell and attended Lowell schools.As a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, Paul proudly served his country in the Vietnam War from 1968-1969 and received his honorable discharge in 1970.After his discharge from the Marine Corps, Paul worked for B.F.I. as an independent truck driver Paul also enjoyed flea marketing.Paul and his wife, Hazel moved to Hudson, FL in 2004 because of health issues but talked about how much he missed spending time with his son, Michael and grandchildren.Paul also had a passion for playing pool, he once beat the former N.Y. State Champion. Paul also enjoyed spending time with this three dachshunds.He was also a member of the VFW where he spent time with his fellow servicemen.He will be sadly missed by his family.Besides his loving wife, Hazel Nealon Desrochers, he is survived by his mother, Cecile Desrochers, his father, Roland Desrochers; son, Michael and grandchildren, Brice, Michael Jr.; sisters, Jeanne Brodsky of Dracut, Rachel Landis, Louise St. Aubin; and brother, Normand Desrochers of Hudson, NH.He was also the father to the late Paul Desrochers Jr., and brother to the late Diane Belanger.DESROCHERS -- Services will be held on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Turners Funeral Home, Spring Hill, FL
