Obituary of Paul C. Williams


Paul C. Williams, 67, born Oct. 30, 1946 of Greenfield, MA, passed away Nov. 10, 2013 at Charlene Manor.Born in Northampton, MA, Paul was predeceased by his mother, Edith Lynch, and his brother, Bruce Williams.Paul loved spending time with his two daughters, son-in-law, and three grandchildren. He had a passion for learning and loved math of all levels.Paul served in the Navy from 1965 to 1969 specializing in submarines, torpedos and weapons. His most recent job was at Oxford Pickle Factory in South Deerfield, MA, where he worked for 30+ years.Paul was a very knowledgeable and accomplished man, loved by all and who will be greatly missed.Survivors include his daughter, Nicole Williams, and her son, Xavier Ducharme of Colrain, MA; his daughter, Shayna (Williams) Gruszkowski, her husband, Joe, and their two daughters, Kiara and Kayla of Greenfield, MA; his sisters, Kathleen Lynch of Bernardston, MA, Amy Bonzek of Greenfield, MA, and Sharon (Bonzek) McClard and her husband Tom of Virginia Beach, VA, as well as four nephews and two nieces. A celebration of life for Paul will be held Nov. 24, 2013 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Montague Elks, 1 Elks Avenue, Turners Falls, MA. Please feel free to bring a dish to share.Memorial contributions can made in Paul's name to Hospice of Franklin County, 329 Conway St., Greenfield, MA 01301.Paul's daughter would like to thank the staff at Hospice for their care and devotion to Paul, with a special thanks to Jackie Henderson, as well as the staff at Charlene Manor for helping with his care in final days.
