Paul Berkley Smith, 91, Iuka, Miss., died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003. Visitation will continue today until service time. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Cutshall Funeral Home chapel in Iuka, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Officiating will be Lance Foster.He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Gladys Smith, of Iuka; son, Jerry Paul Smith, Dickson, Tenn.; daughter, Diane Sherron, Tuscumbia, Ala.; seven grandchildren, Morgan Smith, Robyn Smith, Casey Smith, Nathan Smith, all of Dickson, Tenn., Jon Sherron, Jenny Sherron and Katie Sherron, all of Tuscumbia.Pallbearers will include Jon Sherron, Charles Manley, Richard Luttman, Bob Wimbish, Lucian Puckett and Lyonel "Cotton" Wade. He was employed as a carpenter for TVA for 40 years and was a member of Iuka Church of Christ. He was an Army veteran of World War II, having served in North Africa. He was a member of Carpenters Local No. 109 in Sheffield, Ala. He was a hard worker who loved his family.
