Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, at Forrest Cemetery for Patsy Joan Erwin Peters, 68, who entered Heaven Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013. The Rev. Randy Bradford will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.Patsy Joan Erwin Peters' life touched so many. My aunt (Patsy Joan Erwin Peters) was a wonderful woman. Her life was a blessing to so many people. She was kind, gentle, loving, compassionate, funny, giving, patient, and always looked for the best in people. She was a Christian woman, who loved going to church and loved Christian music.She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Grace (Bowlin) Erwin; brothers, Butch Erwin, Robert Erwin Jr., James Erwin, Lamar Erwin, Bill Erwin and Albert Erwin; sisters, Doris Erwin and Jean Yvonne Bradford; and nephew, Ricky Bradford.She is survived by her half-sister, Ruby Bradshaw; nephews, Randy (Kathy) Bradford, Jeff Erwin, Alan Erwin, Tim Erwin, Gary Erwin and Joey Osborn; nieces, Alicia Mims, Nancy Jane Erwin and Carol Erwin; great-niece, Morgan Lee Bradford; sisters-in-law, Teen Erwin and Jane Erwin; close friends, Jason (Jamie) Tidmore and children, Dot Johnson, Paul and Tammy Johnson and children, the entire Johnson family, and Adam Bittle.Pallbearers will be: Jason Tidmore, Paul Johnson, William Johnson, Larry Johnson, Greg Johnson and Gary Erwin.Special thanks to Jason and Jamie Tidmore for helping my mother take care of Pat and to Paul and Tammy for your help in taking care of Pat.The family will accept friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home.Online condolences may be made at www.collier-butler.com.
