Survivors include his wife, Ivy of North Port; daughters Heidi of Sacramento, Calif., Lindsey Dawson of Sacramento, Calif., and Jade Sprickman of Redding, Calif.; sisters Kathleen Smith, Suzan Smith and Dorothy Carter, all of Vidor, Texas; and three grandchildren.
