Mr. Patrick J. Moriarty, 61, died on Sunday, April 22, 2012, in Glen Ridge, N.J. A Funeral Mass will be offered in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona, N.J., on Wednesday, April 25 at 10 a.m. Visiting will be in the Prout Funeral Home, www.proutfuneralhome.com, 370 Bloomfield Ave., Verona, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Born in New York City, Mr. Moriarty grew up in Elmwood Park, N.J., and lived in Wayne, N.J., for 20 years prior to moving to Verona two years ago. He was a financial analyst for Incent One in Lyndhurst, N.J., and previously worked for the Bank of New York in New York City. Mr. Moriarty had a B.A. in business administration from Seton Hall University and his M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He was an usher at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Verona; was formerly a basketball coach for the Wayne Recreation League, and served as a leader for B.S.A. Troop 108 in Wayne, N.J. Mr. Moriarty is survived by his children, Patrick J. Moriarty Jr. (and his wife, Colleen), Lauren Moriarty, Matthew Moriarty and Jonathan Moriarty; five brothers, two sisters, and 13 nieces and nephews.
