She was born July 13, 1931, in El Dorado, KS, the daughter of the Richard and Myrtle Squires.Pat was a 1949 graduate of Willard High School and attended Business College in Springfield. She was the church secretary for Southside Baptist Church for 31 years, and the church clerk at the First Baptist Church of Aurora for over 35 years, where she was a member and taught Sunday school for several years.On December 16, 1949, she married Donald Joe Wilson in Springfield. He preceded her in death on June 21, 1995. Her father Richard Squires, her mother, Myrtle (Lamb) Squires-Bilyeu-Hanafin and stepfather, Wilfred Bilyeu also preceded her in death.She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Jane (Steve) Madewell of Aurora, and her son, Richard (Debbie) Wilson of Nixa; six grandsons, Michael and Matthew Madewell, Marcus (Melody) Madewell, Jeremy Wilson, Jarrett (Ashley) Wilson, Jordan (Casey) Wilson; and five great-grandchildren, Hadan and Haley Madewell, Noah, Luke and Ender Wilson.A funeral service under the direction of the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home was on May 21, 2014, at the First Baptist Church of Aurora, with burial at the Clear Creek Cemetery in Willard.
