"Patsy" Johnson, 65, who entered into rest April 11, 2014, will be conducted Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Dr. Gary C. Redding officiating. Interment in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Johnson was a native of Warrenton, GA, having made North Augusta her home for the past 41 years. She was a former member of First Baptist Church of Warrenton and currently attended New Hope Worship Center. Mrs. Johnson was a loving wife, mother and grandmother whose joy was her family. She enjoyed cooking and was a caring and giving person.Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Frank Johnson; a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Brandy Johnson, Augusta, GA; a daughter and son-in-law, Kerri and Ben Stephenson, Suwanee, GA; two brothers, Ricky Thrift, Hendersonville, TN and Randy Thrift, Warrenton, GA; three grandchildren, Lauren Johnson, Phillips Johnson and Bennett Stephenson; her great aunt, Joyce Clark; special friends, Lail and Tim Ferguson. Pallbearers will be Ben Stephenson, Matt Stephenson, Tim Ferguson, Sammy Cooper, Ronald Williams and Jimmy Adams.The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 3 until 5.Memorials may be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 1311 Mamaroneck Avenue, Suite 310, White Plains, NY 10605.
