PRICE Patricia Sharon (nee Carey) Price, formerly of Wayne, NJ, died after a brief illness on May 3, 2010 at Marin General Hospital, CA. Born in Manhattan on March 10, 1934 she resided there until she married the love of her life, Richard Price on January 10, 1970, and moved to NJ. Pat worked as an administrative assistant at Bristol-Myers Squibb Co., in Manhattan for three and a half decades, most of those years for Harry Fletcher, "the world's best boss." She cherished and kept her friends from work, most especially Joan Moscardina-Lavella, Nancy Labella, Kathy Fillmann and George Evans, and made new lifelong friends at 'the lake', most especially Marlene Woods, Kay Sullivan, and Bev Tierney, to where she and Richie moved in 1978.She and Richie became active in the community at Packanack joining the Golf and Country Club, the Packanack Players, and Immaculate Heart of Mary. Their love for the game of golf had them snow birding in Florida. After they retired, Pat and Richie explored Europe on a number of trips together with her stepdaughter Sue and her husband Carmen. Her beloved husband predeceased her on February 13, 2003. Pat moved to California in June of 2009 to be near her niece Jane.Predeceased by her parents Rose and John Carey and sister Eileen Wronski, she is survived by step-daughters Susan Pignotti of Fredon, NJ and her husband Carmen; Kerry Thompson of Honesdale, PA and her husband Bruce; niece Jane Gyorgy of Point Reyes Station, CA and her husband Frank; grandchildren Michael and Marc Pignotti and his wife Karen, Mike and Catherine Rumain and Emily Derrick and her husband John, and great-grandchildren, Ryan and Robbie Pignotti and Brynn Derrick.Her ashes will be brought back to Wayne for a funeral Mass, 10:30 AM on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Immaculate Heart of Mary, 580 Ratzer Rd.
