Patricia Smith, born in 1927, spouse of William Bill, daughter of Claud and Frances, mother of Judy, Diane, Ted, Bill, Patty, Michelle, Robert, Pat and John, died on September 18, 2004 at 77 years old. Please consult the obituary here:
SMITH, Patricia Margaret (nee Kilbey) Passed away peacefully in her sleep, on September 18, 2004, at Hotel Dieu Hospital, at 77 years of age. Born in Windsor, Ontario, on May 25th, 1927. Predeceased by her parents Frances and Claud Kilbey. Beloved wife of William (Bill) for 54 years. Loving mother of John and Pat Smith, Robert and Michelle Smith, Patty and Bill Findlay, Ted and Diane Smith, Judy Archer and friend Colin McGrory. Predeceased by son-in-law Andy Archer. Cherished grandmother of Shawn and Danielle Findlay, Tim and Jenn Findlay, Rachel and Darcy Gavine, Brooke, Emma, Russell, Andrew, Cory, Brad and Matt Smith, Tom and Joel Archer, and great grandson Owen Findlay. Several brothers -in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews also survive. Pat was a devoted lifelong member of the Church of the Ascension, in particular a member of the Rector's Senate and active in the St. Catherine's Group and Jubilee Club. Pat will be sorely missed by her lifelong friends and members of the Saturday Night Card Club. At Pat's request, cremation has taken place. On Tuesday, family and friends are invited to meet at the Church of the Ascension (1385 University Ave. W.) after 10:00am, followed by a memorial service at 11:00am. The Rev. Canon Dr. Donald H.
