PATRICIA S. DAVIS Patricia S. Davis, 77, of Vero Beach, FL and East Greenbush, NY, died peacefully July 27, 2005 with her family by her side, at VNA Hospice House after a prolonged illness. She was born July 9, 1928 in Cooperstown, NY and she has been a winter resident of Vero Beach since 1988. Pat was Church Administrator for the First United Methodist Church, East Greenbush, NY for 17 years before her retirement in 1989. She was a member of the United Methodist Women and active with Girl Scouts of America and Little League in East Greenbush. She created a loving home for her family and friends. Her time spent in the kitchen, cooking and baking will be a lasting memory to all who ever had the opportunity to share one of Pat's wonderful meals. Pat enjoyed hobbies of candle making, knitting and sewing. She appreciated nature through her love of roses, pansies and cardinals. Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Doy Davis of Vero Beach and East Greenbush, NY; sons, Randal Davis (Laurie) of Granby, CT and Timothy Davis of East Greenbush, NY; daughters, Jill Cohen (Larry) of Merrimack, NH and WendySue Prout (Jim) of Troy, NY and 7 grandchildren, Jen, Maura, Kyleen, Matt, Olivia, Elissa and Lindsay. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ by the Sea Endowment Fund, 3755 HWY A1A, Vero Beach, FL 32963 in memory of Pat. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m., Monday, August 1, 2005 at Christ United Methodist by the Sea, Vero Beach with Rev. Dawn Lawton, Pastor, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach.
