MILLER Patricia R. Miller, age 78, of Huntington Street, Shelton, entered into rest Sunday, March 23, 2003, after a long illness. She was the devoted wife of more than 50 years to Eugene R. Miller. Mrs. Miller was born in Williamstown, Mass., April 24, 1924, daughter of the late Massachusetts State Rep. Richard A. and Florence Crowley Ruether and has been a Shelton resident for most of her life. She enlisted in the Navy WAVES in World War II, serving as a specialist in education at Quonset Point, R.I. In her spare time she enjoyed New Orleans jazz, and was an avid New York Yankees fan. She was the beloved mother of Stephen R. Miller of Wallingford and Lawrence R. Miller of Shelton. She also leaves three loving grandchildren. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday, March 26, 2003, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
