Obituary of Patricia-Maude Carter

Carter , Patricia Maude "Rocki" (nee Roehling), born September 12, 1930, passed away peaceful Monday, June 4, 2007. Originally from Waukesha, Wisconson, she moved to Delray Beach in the late 1940's and graduated from Seacrest High School in 1948. A proud Seminole and member of Phi Mu Sorority, she graduated from Florida State University's College of Journalism in 1952. She remained a devoted fan of Seminole football and Bobby Bowden. After her marriage, she and her husband spent several years in the Caribbean Islands, during which time her two sons, Chuck and Mark, were born. In 1967, she relocated to Boca Raton where she lived until her illness in January of this year. An active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Pat was blessed with many dear friends. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Mark Carter his wife Kristin, and her grandchildren Charlie, Robby and Andy Carter. She was reunited in Heaven with her son, Chuck and her parents. Pat was a true "character" who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 16, 2007 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Boca Raton. Babione Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
