->OLD TOWN - Patricia Mae (Martin) Morin went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 27, 2015, after a brief illness. She was born in Old Town, September 24, 1932, the daughter of the late Ernest R. and Thelma (Fortier) Martin."Patty" attended Old Town schools and graduated in 1952. Patty was a faithful parishioner at Holy Family Church in Old Town where she married her childhood sweetheart and best friend, Donald Clement Morin, on June 19, 1953. Patty spent her early years as a homemaker, lovingly committed to raising her three children. In later years, her love for her children was displayed when she worked as a playground aide at the Old Town Elementary School and substituted in the school kitchens. Volunteer work was a huge part of Patty's life. During the course of her life she would find herself volunteering for Meals for Me, St. Joseph's Hospital, Holy Family Church answering the phones and volunteering in the Thrift Shop with many of her dear friends. She was an avid supporter of all of her grandchildren's activities and milestones. She was also a faithful sport's fan, following the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots every season. She loved bowling and continued to bowl into her 80s. She enjoyed the camaraderie of all of her teammates.Patty is survived and will be greatly missed by her husband, Donnie, of 62 years, three loving children, Carl Raymond Morin of Greenbush, Maine, Steven Eric Morin of Old Town, and Kelly Jane Paradis and her husband, Kevin, also of Old Town. Patty also leaves behind 5 very special grandchildren. Adam Paradis and his wife, Sonali, of Bangor, Maine, Brendan Paradis of Augusta, Maine, and Chad Paradis of Old Town, Justin Morin and Brittany Morin of Tempe, Arizona and one very special great grandson, Jacoby Adam Paradis. Grammy will fondly be remembered for always keeping her refrigerator stocked with goodies and her unconditional support for everything her grandchildren did. She was their #1 fan. Patty also leaves behind one brother, Paul Martin and his wife Irene, sister-in-law Ruthann Martin all of Old Town, a brother and sister-in-law Robert j. Morin and his wife Lois of Old Town.Patricia was predeceased by her brothers Carl Martin, Robert Martin and Raymond Martin. She leaves behind many special nieces and nephews, neighbors and friends that meant so much to her.Patty's wishes were to have no service or visiting hours.
