HOWES, PATRICIA M. - The death of Patricia M. Howes of Rothesay, NB occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, February 17th, 2007. Pat was born at Saint John in 1920 the youngest child of the late former Bandmaster Harold H. "Pete" and M. May (Scott Harding) Williams. Pat was the wife of the late James J. Howes who died in 1971. For many years she worked at Bradley Jewelers and later Cowie Jewelers in Saint John. Pat is survived by her sister, Mabel E. Roxborough of Sussex; nieces, Dale Peters of Ottawa and Moyra Long of Sussex; nephews, Malcolm Beare of Las Vegas, Harold Williams of Rothesay and Fred Beare of Montreal; brother-in-law, J. Douglas Howes of Saint John; and several great and great great nieces and nephews. Pat was predeceased by her sister, Frances Beare; and brothers, George and Charles Williams. In keeping with Pat's wishes she will be cremated and there will be no visiting or funeral service. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery in Saint John at a later date.
