RYAN - Patricia Lucille Dunning On July 4, 2014 in her 77th year. She was a proud daughter of South Buffalo, New York, and a fierce Irish American. She was born to Patrick and Ruth Dunning on October 24, 1936. She was a graduate of Mount Mercy Academy of Buffalo, New York and graduated flight attendant school for United Airlines. She flew for United for many years before marrying William Benze Ryan on a snowy February day in Buffalo. After her marriage in 1965, she lived in Hauppauge until her death, where she raised her two children: William Brendan Ryan and Sheila Maureen Ryan. Her lifelong passions were travel, Ireland and a good story. When her children were older, she returned to the work force in the travel consultant business, running her own business, Landing Travel for years. She was a member of the Hibernians, the Rosary Altar Society and Catholic Daughters for St. Patrick's Church in Smithtown. She is predeceased by her husband Bill Ryan (December 28, 2013), and her son in-law Antonius Jung. She is survived by two brothers in-law: Jimmy and George Ryan, and siblings Sheila Moncheck and John Dunning (Elizabeth). Her children carry on, as do her young grandsons: Patrick Ryan Jung and Liam Benedict Ryan Jung. Until we meet again.
