Patricia Lawler Anderson, 70, died Sept. 20, 2010, in New Haven, Conn. She was born in New Haven and lived in Barefoot Bay, coming from Clinton, Pa. Before retirement, she worked at Olin Matheson, was an instructor at the Barbizon School of Modeling, a model for the Edward Malley Co. and Kramer's Furriers and worked for Storer Cable in Clinton. She graduated from St. Francis grammar school and Sacred Heart Academy and attended SCSU. Survivors include her husband, Rod E. Anderson of Barefoot Bay and Branford, Conn.; son, Stephen Anderson of Madison; daughter, Lauren Patricia Anderson of Warwick, R.I.; brothers, Thomas Lawler of Torrington and Lawrence Lawler of Wallingford, Conn.; sisters, Ann Giordano of Barefoot Bay and Kathleen Bourke of New Haven; and four grandchildren. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke Church in Barefoot Bay at a later date. Arrangements are by W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home in Branford.
