Obituary of Patricia-Lamm Smith


Patricia (Pat) Lamm Smith of Cropwell, AL, age 64, passed away on February 5, 2014, after a long fight with cancer. She fought hard and never gave up and hopefully has been an inspiration to many during her lifetime. She is survived by her loving and caring husband, Omar Smith. She is also survived by brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Barry and Janice Smith of Tallahassee, Florida; nephew, Jesse Lamm, of Raleigh, NC; nephew and niece-in-law, Ryan and Lisa Smith from Tallahassee; niece Erin Smith and grandniece Ashlynn from Tallahassee. Preceded in death by her mother and father Audrey and William Lamm of Kenly, NC and brother Thomas Lamm. A special thanks is given to Pat's brother-in-law and sister-in-law and nephew and niece-in-law from Tallahassee for all the care and support they have given her during her time of illness. Pat has many cousins and friends in NC and they all have been a GOD send to help her with her battle. Also, thanks to all her friends in Alabama, especially those from Cropwell Baptist Church for helping her through this time in her life. A celebration of Pat's life was held at Cropwell Baptist Church, Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Lakeside Hospice, Pell City, AL. Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City directed.
