Carlton - Patricia L. Gunter, 61, wife of Robert Gunter, died Saturday, May 31, 2008 at Elbert Memorial Hospital.A native of Banks County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Julia Chandler Drake. She was a member of Macedonia Congregational Holiness Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Grover Towe; and brothers, Michael Drake and James Drake.Survivors include her husband; daughter, Bertie Gunter of Carlton, Ga.; sons, Junior Towe of Salisbury, N.C., Tommy Towe of Royston, Ga., David Gunter of Athens, Ga.; step-sons, Marion Gunter of Carlton, Ga., Leon Gunter of Athens, Ga.; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.Graveside services will be held Monday, June 2, 2008 at 3 p.m. at Macedonia Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery with Rev. Artis England officiating. Visitation will be held tonight from 7 - 9 p.m. at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospice.Lord & Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
