Patricia L. (Joyce) Collins passed away Nov. 11, 2010, surrounded by her family at McCarthy Center Hospice. Patricia was born in Brockton and raised in Stoughton. Patricia was a resident of Brockton for 45 years. She worked at the Cedar Lodge in Stoughton as well as the Avon Town House in Avon. She helped manage the Collins Steer Club in West Bridgewater. Patricia enjoyed bowling, walks on the beach, playing cards, and golf. Patricia was a proud volunteer at Norwood Hospital for many years. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul J. Collins; loving mother of Paula Collins of Bridgewater, Patricia Collins-Carlson and her husband Steven of Michigan and Pam Otto of Randolph; daughter of the late William and Louise (Sawtell) Joyce; sister of the late PFC William Joyce; proud grandmother to Jonathan, Dan Jr. and his wife Rebecca, Kerri, Crystal, Paul and Erik. Also survived by her great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Ryan. Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 South Main St. (Rte. 28), Randolph, Friday at 8:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton, at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 p.m. Interment Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
