December 8, 2003; wife of the late James Gordon Bennett; dearest mother of Dr. James G. (Carla), Rev. Jeffrey E. (Carol) and Michelle M. (David) Bennett Stieglitz; step-mother of Barbara A. Bennett; grandmother of Lena and Jacob Rautenbach, Kathryn, Constance and Michelle Bennett, Ana Sofia Stieglitz, Katia Stieglitz and Joy Gottschalk; also survived by three great-grandchildren; sister of Elizabeth Thomas, Joan Sheridan and the late Rita Hogan, Veronica Brown, Calvin Jr., Henry and Lawrence LaFlamme. Friends received Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the CURTIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1340 Union Rd., West Seneca, where funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:30 AM and from St. John Vianney Church, 2950 Southwestern Blvd., Orchard Park, at 10 AM. Mrs. Bennett was a retired Buffalo school teacher and a member of the St. John Vianney Our Lady's Sodality and Emeritus member of the Bishop's Committee for Christian Home and Family and a veteran of USCG SPARS WWII.
