Patricia Kay Jones, 55, died June 1, 2008, at McCall Hospice House. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Jack Waddy and Martha Louise Jones. Ms. Jones was a graduate of J.L. Mann High School and obtained her CPM designation. She recently received recognition for her 30 years of service with the Jacobs Engineering Group in Greenville, S.C. She was a senior buyer for the supply management department and according to her managers, a key associate and stellar performer. Ms. Jones was an avid gardener and devoted pet lover. Her passion for life will be greatly missed by all. She is survived by her beloved sister and best friend, Joyce A. Kirby of Greenville; her son, Tom DiPuma, Jr., and his wife, Leigh Ann; three grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, and Emma, all of Jasper, Ga.; nieces, Laura Whitley and her husband, Kit of York, S.C., and Jill Scheper and her husband, Bill of Port Royal, S.C. In addition to her grandchildren, Ms. Jones had much loved great-nieces and great-nephews, Mary Claire Whitley, Ben Whitley, Kaitlin Scheper, Racheal Scheper, Will Scheper, and Rebecca Scheper. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2008, in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Visitation will be held from 6:30 until 8 p.m. on Monday, June 2, 2008, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to McCall Hospice House, 1836 W.
