<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Oct. 11, 1932-Sept. 9, 2014 Patricia ("Pat") Mack, 81 passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at her home in New Market, Alabama. A retired elementary school teacher, Pat was beloved by her family and friends alike. She was very involved in her church and lived life with a twinkle in her eye, a wry sense of humor, and a love of learning. Born in International Falls, Minnesota, to Phoebe and Henry ("Hank") Stormo, Pat attended the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis where she earned a bachelor's degree and teaching certificate. At the age of 21, Pat embraced adventure and moved to Santa Maria, California to teach grade school. It was there Pat met Wayne Mack (deceased 1985) and the two were married on December 27, 1957. Pat continued teaching elementary school, primarily in Guadalupe , California. An avid traveler into her 60s, Pat was a life-time learner and enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles, singing in her church choir, and spending time with family . She is survived by her brother, Paul Stormo (Ruth); three children, Sarah Bengs (Ronald) , Daniel Mack (Rhonda) and Robert Mack. Son, Paul Mack, preceded his parents in death in 1960. Her ten grandchildren include Alysha Jones (Seth), Jonathan Worsham, Christopher Bengs, Lauren Smith (Nathaniel), Courtney Durbin (David), Caitey Mack;,Analyn Bengs, Sean Bengs, Joseph Bengs and Stephen Bengs; and seven great- grandchildren, Emmalee, Hanna, Hudson, Maverick, Alison, Henry, and Levi; nephew, David Stormo; niece, Karla Paul (Jeff) and great-niece , Sophia. Pat was dearly loved and will be missed by many. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4 at 11:00a.m. at Locust Grove Baptist Church in New Market, Alabama.
