Patricia Jean Jackson, 67, died May 19, 2011, at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach. She was born in Arcadia and lived in Vero Beach for more than 50 years, coming from her birthplace. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and a master's degree from Rollins College. She had been a guidance counselor for Indian River County Schools, serving most recently at the Freshman Learning Center in Vero Beach. She was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Marshall Jackson of Vero Beach; sons, Brian Southwell of Orlando and Scott Southwell of Jacksonville; brothers, Frank Sellers of North Carolina and John Sellers of Georgia; and two grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA/Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960. Services: A memorial will be at a later date.
