Patricia A. Hoffman, a Croton resident for the last 43 years, passed away Friday at her home with her children near her. She was 71. Mrs. Hoffman was married to the late Paul S. Hoffman. Pat was previously Director and Teacher at the Circle School in Croton-on-Hudson. She was born in Middletown, NY on August 18, 1936, the daughter of Henry Donald and Esther Smith Rudisill of Hanover, PA. Patricia was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church Bell Choir, active with the Croton Caring Committee, and long-time host for AFS international exchange students. She is survived by a son Eric and his wife, Ruth, three daughters; Kathryn and her husband Stephen Verkouw, Julia Smith and Margot and her husband Paul Rippey. She was blessed with 17 grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Carter's Funeral Home, 41 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11AM at Carter's, followed by a reception at the Croton Yacht Club at 12 PM.
