Herrick-Janssens, Patricia "Trish"Dec. 29, 1933 - Oct. 4, 2013Trish Herrick-Janssens, 79, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Long Island, NY, died on Oct. 4, 2013. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thurs., at Packer Funeral Home in Sarasota, FL. Funeral arrangements by: Packer Funeral Home.Our dear and loving friend, 'Trish' Janssens, born December 29, 1933 in Long Island City, NY, left us on October 4, 2013 after a long and courageous battle with corticobasal degeneration. Trish grew up on Long Island and in Glen Cove, Connecticut with her parents. Helen and Willard Herrick. She attended Friends School and Wells College, graduating from there in June 1955. She moved to New York City after graduation where she was married in June 1962 and lived and worked until 1979 when she and her husband moved to Sarasota, Florida. Trish worked as a meeting planner both in NYC and in Sarasota. She was loved and admired by all who knew her.
