HALL, Patricia (nee Bulmer, formerly Bradley) Peacefully in her sleep at the Kingston General Hospital in Kingston, Ontario in the early morning hours of Saturday, December 5, 2009. She was born in Gillingham, Chatham, Great Britain on May 17, 1917, to Elmer H. Bulmer, a Canadian Veteran who served in France during the Great War, and to his bride, Beatrice Annie Whiting. In her youth, Pat was an avid sportswoman, enjoying tennis, bowling and baseball in a women's league during the WW II years. She went on to enjoy travel, cooking, gardening, playing bridge with her many Kingston friends, and knitting and crocheting. Pat donated hundreds of handmade caps and blankets to children's and cancer charities over the years. She was also dearly fond of animals, a passion she passed on by example to her daughter and grandchildren. Pat is predeceased by her parents, the husband of her youth, J. Kenneth Bradley (1917-1976), and the husband of her golden years, Arthur W. Hall (1920 -1989), both Canadian War Veterans. Pat is survived by her daughter, Margo Carter (nee Margaret Anne Bradley) (James E.), of Long Beach, California, her grandchildren, Duncan (Barbara), Ian Jr., Kelly Anne, and Donna J. Hamilton, all of the U.S., four grandchildren and two great grandchildren, many Hall and Carter step-family members as well as her beloved cats, Fred and Molly. In keeping with Pat's wishes, cremation will be immediate and services will be private. Those who wish to honor Pat's life and her passion for the care and treatment of animals, may make a donation to the Kingston Humane Society, 1 Binnington Court, Kingston, ON, K7M 8M9.
