Hughes, Patricia Charmienne (Yarwood)May 15, 1926 - June 24, 2011Patricia Charmienne (Yarwood) Hughes, known as "Shiri" was the daughter of Hannah Irene Sargeant and Clare George Yarwood.Born May 15, 1926 in Newport, Ky. Died June 24, 2011 in Sarasota, Fla. She was educated at Miss Harris' Florida School, Wellesley College and Harvard Business School. She was an ordained Spiritualist Minister and Kentucky Colonel. She worked for many years as a Stage Lighting Designer and Character Actress in both Miami and Boston and later worked with the I.R.S as an Enrolled Agent. She is survived by a daughter, Charmienne Pohlman, a son, John Hughes and two grandchildren. Her family requests that in lieu of flowers, any contributions in her memory be made to Wellesley College, Office of Development Services, 106 Central Street, Wellesley, MA 02481.
