Patricia A. Casey, 49BLACKSTONE - Patricia A. "Patty" Casey, 49, passed away following a sudden illness March 8, 2015. She leaves her husband of 30 years, Scott Casey, her daughter Andrea Casey and sons Shawn and Scott Casey, her sisters Donna Lara and Elizabeth O'Donnell and her husband Jimmy and brother Michael Lara, her aunts Gail Fadden, Pamela Boucher and Lynne Hercher and uncle Joe Hercher and several nieces and nephews. Her sister Beverly Rivers predeceased her. Patty was born March 18, 1966 in Worcester, daughter of the late Constance (Faber) and Andrew Lara. She grew up in Grafton and Worcester, attending Grafton High School. Always hard working most recently she worked as a dietary aid at Blackstone Rehabilitation and was beloved by the residents there. Closer to home you could easily find her around a table playing cards with her friends or engaging them on social media. Summer vacations were often spent at Hampton Beach in New Hampshire as Patty loved being near the ocean. Her family and friends will remember Patty as a loving, caring mother with a generous heart who was always there with a helping hand to anyone who needed one. Grafton, MA 01536 followed by a Remembrance Service at 4pm in the funeral home. Burial will be private at her family's convenience.
