Funeral services will be held August 29, 2013 11:00 AM from Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Selma, AL. Ms. Brooks will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. She leaves to cherish her memories two sisters, Mildred B. (Jimmie) Cal of Montgomery, AL, Sandra A. Brooks of Loganville, GA; two nieces, Yolanda R. Cal of Montgomery, AL and Tiffany (Byron) Altman of Locust Grove, GA; and a great niece, America M. Altman of Locust Grove, GA; two aunts, Annette Brooks and Lucy B. Smith, both of Selma, AL.; and host of family and friends. The processional will be leaving from Ross-Clayton Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.
