She was a dietitian. Some hobbies include serving the Lord and loving other people's children. She loved to cook, sew and spend time with her family.She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Heard Sr.; her mother, Ida Dell Heard; and sister, Betty Perry.Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Alverse Boyd of Pensacola; one son, Al Boyd of Bowling Green, KY; one daughter, Maria Boyd of Pensacola; three brothers; two sisters; two grandchildren, Jasmine Boyd of Pensacola and Jakarian Brown of Bowling Green, KY; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Damascus Road Missionary Baptist Church with pastor Earl F. Jackson officiating.Viewing will begin at 12:30 at the church.
