BISHOP, PATRICIA "PAT," 58, of Louisville, died Monday, July 31, 2006 at Norton Healthcare Hospice Unit. She was the former Patricia Langley, a graduate of Valley High School and a hairdresser. She was also a Jefferson County School bus driver and worked for Davenport Frame Shop. She was a member of St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church and founding member and board of director of Ovarian Awareness of Kentucky (OAK). She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Langley. She is survived by her husband, Bill Bishop; son, Kent Bishop (Vicky); daughter, Holly Ryan (Michael); sisters, Cheri Martin (Bill), Lettie Humphries (John), Betty Schamore (Lou), Connie Miller (Brian), and Gerri Garr (Robert); and her mother, Mary Brown. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Patrick, Connor, and Brennan Ryan and Audrey Bishop and two friends, Betty Hatzell and Diana Cawthorn. Her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday at St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church, 1104 South Sixth St., with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Highlands Family- Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice of Louisville or OAK
