HUGHES, Patricia Anne 62, of St. Pete Beach, passed away suddenly March 25, 2013, at Bayfront Hospital. Patricia was born in Whittier, CA, and grew up in Royal Oak, MI. She taught elementary school in Phila-delphia early in her career before moving into telecom-munications (first in Michigan, then in Chicago, IL), where she finished as a Regional Sales Director of international telecommunications. Patricia's bigger than life personality opened doors for her every-where she went, both at home and abroad. While caring and generous to friends & family, she was an innovator in life and courageously challenged expectations, perceptions and traditions. Patricia loved gar-dening the outdoors & in her later years, she particularly enjoyed Fort DeSoto Park and other Pinellas county parks and beaches. She is preceded in death by father, Harry Pacholski; and survived by mother, Anne; brothers, Alan and John; her sister, Karen (Usztok). Family & friends will celebrate Patricia's brilliant starlight with a funeral Mass at St. John Vianney at 1 pm, on Friday, May 17th.
